Step 1 - Choose items & enter rental period
Besides date, you are also given the option of entering a time. While we do our best to accommodate the time, it is dependent upon the Flex Delivery schedule for the day. If you need it first thing, then please select the Flex Delivery Gold option.
Step 2 - Checkout, enter delivery & pickup option
Kiama Hire is a full-service operation in that our rental items are delivered and picked up from your door or site, which allows us to pass the savings of not having an expensive retail store front on to you.
Please note the delivery options available for the item when booking. If you are a new customer, you will be required to setup a new account.
Step 3 - Approve standard terms and conditions and make payment
Upon approval and successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
Some items require a security deposit. Note that all equipment shall be returned in the same clean and functioning condition as it was when picked up. Assuming full compliance, the security deposit shall be returned in full.
Step 4 - Delivery
The time of daily deliveries is dependent upon our delivery schedule workload for the day. Flex delivery items are prioritised into flex-gold, flex-silver, and flex-standard, starting at 7:30am, and then the time you selected during item selection is taken into account. We will keep in communication with you via text during the delivery windows. For standard delivery and fast delivery items, we will call you to arrange a delivery time. Upon delivery we will take a picture of your ID for our records.
Step 5 - Pickup
Unless prior arrangements are made, our pickups are made in the same order as delivery. If our daily delivery scheduled is light, we pickup using the same delivery time windows. However, our deliveries, specifically, flex-gold and flex-silver deliveries, take precendence over all others, including pickup. We will keep in communication with you via text during the delivery windows. For standard delivery and fast delivery items, we will call you to arrange a pickup time.
Step 6 - Security Deposit Returned
All of our items are inspected upon return. Pending the items being returned in the same condition as they were sent out - clean and undamaged, we will return your security deposit. However, if an item was not returned in compliance with the standard terms & conditions e.g. not returned clean, or was returned damaged, we will be forced to charge against your security deposit to bring the item back to original condition. We really don't like doing this, so please take care of our equipment like it was your own. Thank you.
